CLASSES & TUITION

Providence Christian Preschool’s teaching staff and administrator believe each child learns by actively participating, exploring, and discovering. Each child is accepted as an individual, allowing for differences in skills and interests. The preschool curriculum is well planned and balanced. A play-based approach is utilized within a structured environment including a teaching topic for each month.

The weekly schedule includes vigorous and quiet indoor activities as well as outside playground time. Activities are organized around learning centers that include art, dramatic play, music, science/nature, fine and gross motor skills, cognitive skills, fingerplays, rhymes, and group time.

Lunch Bunch offers children an extended day where they eat lunch and have playtime with classmates. Lunch Bunch begins at 11:30 AM and ends at 12:30 PM, extending the day for morning students.

All students, ages 2–5, are welcome to participate in Lunch Bunch, which begins the second week of school. NOTE: Lunch is not provided, students are required to bring their own lunch.

Sign-up for Lunch Bunch at the same time as school enrollment. You may sign-up later in the year but it will be subject to availability.

The enrichment program enhances the preschool learning experience for children in our 4 Year Old Class (ages 4 and 5). The class focuses on kindergarten readiness skills, pre-writing skills social/teamwork, exploration and discovery, science concepts, promotes friendship and courage. Students learn through fun, exciting activities that engage their whole bodies.

Enrichment class runs Monday thru Thursday and ends at 2:30 (dismissal on Friday is at 12:30 after lunch bunch). Cost of Enrichment includes Lunch Bunch session.

Sign-up for Enrichment at the same time as school enrollment. You may sign-up later in the year but it will be subject to availability. NOTE: It is not possible to only register your child for Enrichment and not Lunch Bunch.

Our 2YO’s will learn to socialize with their friends while learning through playing, participate in large group activities and get acclimated to a classroom setting and structure. Begin to identify alphabet, numbers, colors and shapes.

Our 3YO’s will continue to learn to socialize with their peers, participate in large group settings, focusing on identifying colors, shapes, numbers, alphabet and following 2 and 3 step directions.

Our 4YO’s will participate in large group setting along and one-on-one time focusing on writing, cutting, cognitive skills and understanding concepts, comparisons, and classifications. We focus on Kindergarten readiness in this class.

* There is no Enrichment on Fridays. Children are dismissed at 12:30 after Lunch Bunch.
